Teaching Qualitative Inquiry

In our continuing efforts to enhance the International Congress of Qualitative Inquiry (ICQI) website, we are planning to add teaching-related materials to the resources that are currently available at the website. Below is a list of some of the pedagogy-related qualitative resources that we would like to offer in this portion of the ICQI website:

  •           qualitative course syllabi
  •           information about classroom activities used in qualitative courses
  •           information about qualitative course assignments and projects
  •           teaching guidelines or suggestions that you are able to provide, based on your experiences of teaching qualitative research courses
  •           reference information for journal articles, edited book chapters, and scholarly books that deal with the teaching of qualitative research
  •           links to on-line materials that deal with the teaching of qualitative research
  •           links to on-line descriptions of qualitative courses and their content

We need your help with this task. Please consider sending us any materials that you may have for each of the above types of resources, as well as any other teaching-related materials that you think may be useful to other qualitative researchers, so that we may add them to the ICQI website. The value of the resources that the ICQI website will be able to offer will depend, to a large extent, on the willingness of ICQI members to send us materials. By providing us with teaching-related materials, you will be helping to enhance the value of the ICQI website for qualitative researchers worldwide.

Please e-mail your teaching-related materials to Nathalie Tiberghien (ntiberg2@illinois.edu). Our sincere thanks to you, in advance, for your help with this very important work!
